Our oil blotting face paper manufacturer was the first in Japan to create gold leaf beating paper in 1976 which is applied during the technique of creating gold leaf. The Oil blotting face paper was born in "Kanazawa" (金沢), which literally means "Marsh of Gold", Japan where is famous for producing traditional arts and crafts that ships 99% of Japan's high-quality gold leaf: the gold leaf that covers the famous Golden Pavilion "Kinkaku-ji" in Kyoto was produced in Kanazawa. After the special paper (made with "Asa" Hemp/Linen) is being beaten many times by machine for maximum activation of fibers, the paper is improved to ensure a smooth touch on the skin and efficient absorption. The most important factor for our oil blotting face paper is the "immediate" absorption which is more than other similar papers on the market. You can assess the quality by how much sebum it absorbs even when just touching up your make-up quickly. Chidoriya's oil blotting face paper has a large surface area that has a unique cross hatched pattern. That is why it has an excellent and helps with immediate absorption quality.
